VCJ Taster Rides in May & June

On Saturday May 12th and June 2nd and 9am, VC Jericho is hosting special taster rides, starting from outside the Sheldonian in Oxford.

If you're looking for groups to cycle with now the weather is warming up, come and try out VC Jericho. We'll have special rides laid on with a range of speeds, distances, and coffee stops - so there will be a ride for everyone.

If you're a current member and you have a friend who you think would enjoy the camaraderie, fun and unique character of the rides at VCJ, bring them along!

With very rare exceptions for icy weather, VCJ ride every Saturday throughout the year, so you can be confident that every weekend there will be someone to ride with. We start at 9 am from the Sheldonian and end at a cafe in Oxford. Depending on numbers you'll find up to 5 or 6 groups setting off on rides of between 50 km and over 100 km. The groups' average speeds range from 20 kph to over 30 kph.

This year the club will be subsidising events for members at various points in the year, including a summer barbecue, a Christmas party, and various longer rides that need transport there or back.
