Club Day Out From London on 'Big Bike Ride'

On 7th May VC Jericho will be supporting a local village on a ride from Westminster Abbey to Islip, the birthplace of Edward the Confessor, a few miles north east of Oxford.

The Big Bike Ride is in aid of the village school and church and has a route created specially for VC Jericho and other cycling clubs called The Clubman.

The route starts at the gates of Westminster Abbey, and heads off down the Mall, through Hyde Park and the Georgian splendour of Holland Park, before skirting Wembley and tackling Harrow on the Hill.

Emerging from London directly into the beautiful, rolling, Chiltern Hills the Clubman winds through woods and country lanes to Thame and then via Stanton St. John to the finish at Islip Village Hall.

The route is marshalled throughout by volunteers from Islip, has three foodstops and there is rider and bike transport available to get you and your bike to Westminster for the 9am start. So there's no excuse not to take part!

Join us for a fun club day out on some historic and beautiful roads.
